While traveling home to visit my family, and before heading to the airport, my sister Maddie suggested we stop for foot massages.
I had experienced many massages, spa treatments, and pedicures over the years ~ but never a true foot massage.
I went in not knowing what to expect, and it turned out to be one of the most relaxing, rejuvenating experiences I had ever had.
As I made my way through airport security afterward, I couldn’t stop thinking about it. Charleston had incredible spas, but nothing that offered this experience in a truly luxurious, elevated way.
By the time I was on my flight home, I had already written my business plan.
I wanted to create more than just a spa treatment ~ I wanted to create a sanctuary. A place where people could escape the stress of everyday life, slow down, and experience deep relaxation in an atmosphere that felt refined, indulgent, and unforgettable.
And I never looked back.
